Clinical Audit Session
This session is organised under the auspices of the Section and Board of Nuclear Medicine of the UEMS (European Union of Medical Specialists, President Prof. John O. Prior, Lausanne, CH), which offers a program of accreditation of nuclear medicine departments and training center (Chair Dr. Aurora Crespo De La Jara, Alicante, ES), a European Board of Nuclear Medicine giving the title of Fellow of the European Board of Nuclear Medicine (FEBNM) upon passing the written and oral part of the examinations (Chair Dr. Ilona Kulakiene, Kaunas, LT), as well as providing independent continuing medical education credits according to EACCME (Chair Mohsen Farsad, Bozen, IT) and being responsible to maintain the Educational Training Requirements (ETR) for the specialty of nuclear medicine with the syllabus (Prof. Haluk Burçak Sayman, TR).
This year, the Clinical Audits session will be focusing on recent theranostics developments, with an IAEA presentation of the upcoming theranostics curriculum recently revised in Vienna and a presentation of the results of an ICPO-organised Workshop on harmonisation of theranostics centers accreditation at global scale, both held earlier in 2025.
