Dear Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to the EANM’25—the 38th Annual Congress of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM). The EANM’25 will be held in the vibrant city of Barcelona from October 4-8, 2025.
This year marks a significant milestone for our association as we celebrate four decades of pioneering advancements and collaborative efforts in the field of nuclear medicine. Our congress will be a unique opportunity to reflect on our journey, celebrate our achievements since 1985, and look ahead to securing the brightest future for our specialty.
The EANM Annual Congress is a truly global event, attracting about 10,000 participants from all over the world. This diverse gathering of professionals provides a rich platform for the exchange of ideas, fostering international collaboration and innovation. We are committed to exploring novel formats and interactions with experts, ensuring that our congress remains at the forefront of scientific discourse and professional development.
One of the highlights of this year’s congress will be the continued focus on novel advances in theranostics. This rapidly evolving field continues to revolutionise our approach to diagnosis and treatment, offering unprecedented precision and personalised care for our patients. We have an exciting programme lined up, featuring leading experts who will share their insights and latest research findings.
But our congress is also designed to cater to all fields of research and clinical activity within nuclear medicine. We have specific tracks dedicated to all the various specialities, ensuring that every participant can find sessions relevant to their interests and expertise. Whether you are involved in clinical practice, research, or education, there will be something for you at the EANM’25.
In addition to the scientific sessions, the EANM’25 will provide ample opportunities for networking, collaboration, and professional development. We are particularly proud of our EANM Next-Gen programme, which was launched last year to support our younger collaborators. This initiative offers free registration and accommodation to selected participants to facilitate their attendance and integration into the scientific community, ensuring that the next generation of nuclear medicine professionals is well-represented and engaged. This year again, we will also offer a Young Professionals Lounge for congress participants under 38.
I am also very happy to travel once again to Barcelona, with its rich cultural heritage and dynamic atmosphere, which will serve as the perfect backdrop for our gathering. We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be an inspiring and memorable event. Your participation and contributions are invaluable to the continued success and growth of our community.
Warm regards,
Valentina Garibotto
